My consulting firm is thinking of starting one of our small projects for an enterprise client on Tailscale with the GitHub identity provider. In the future, we will very likely switch to using a more enterprise IDP like Active Directory or SAML.
I’m wondering what the note in the docs here means. Specifically this note: “Unfortunately, we cannot migrate your tailnet from or to GitHub as an identity provider.”.
Can someone please clarify? I want to know what our migration would look like if we can’t migrate the tailnet on GH easily.
