I’ve noticed a --ssh flag for tailscale up that sounds like it might enable an ssh server that would just use tailscale for authentication, which would be amazing. However, when I try to enable it I get the error “Unable to enable local Tailscale SSH server; not enabled/configured on Tailnet.” I don’t see any options in the console that look like they would let me enable it. I assume this is likely a new feature that hasn’t been fully rolled out since I can’t find any documentation for it anywhere but on the off chance it’s possible to get it working I figured I’d check here.
That option isn’t useable yet, there is more to be done.
