Tailscale version: Linux 1.32.2
Your operating system & version: Xubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
When enabling subnet routing on my Linux server, I lose LAN IP access to my Raspberry Pi on the same LAN. The Pi is only accessible via Tailscale IP. With subnet routing disabled, the Pi is accessible via both LAN and Tailscale IP.
What could be breaking LAN access to the Pi when subnet routing is enabled, and how do I troubleshoot?
This is a known issue, and there are other threads on this forum about it, please take a moment to search for them. There’s also a GitHub issue open where this has been discussed a bit, but there aren’t any good solutions at the moment.
Thanks for letting me know. I wasn’t able to find other forum posts or GitHub issues, but perhaps I am not searching for the right words.
Do you mind linking me to the GitHub issue so that I can track this bug?
A search in the forum for ‘subnet local’ gets a bunch of hits, including this one.
