I’m trying to set up an exit node on my Linux(Pop OS!) following this guide. I got it my machine to advertise as an exit node and it shows as one on my admin control console.
When I put in the command sudo tailscale up --exit-node=myip
I get the following error no node found in netmap with IP myip
Did you find a solution to this? I am getting the same error message and do not know how to remedy this.

Are you sure you’re running the command on a seperate device, and not the one that is currently acting as the exit node? The guide can make it seem like you’re supposed to run all the commands sequentially on the same machine but the commands under the linux section of “Step 3: Use the exit node” are supposed to be run on a separate linux “client” machine, i.e. the device you wish to connect to the exit node. You can use the OS selector above the command on the guide page to find the appropriate steps for your client device.
