Home network + subnet using CIDR block

Tailscale version: 1.26.1
Your operating system & version: macOS + Linux

Hi,

I’m setting up Tailscale to access an internal network on AWS (via the subnets feature). So far it works well, but one thing I was wondering - what happens if one of the AWS subnet’s CIDR blocks conflicts with the local network?

For example, we have an AWS subnet with a CIDR block of 10.0.0.0/16. Would it be problematic if my home router also assigns local IPs using the same CIDR block?

I’m asking because I’m evaluating using Tailscale for employee access to an AWS network. I’m wondering if I should be concerned that remote employees need to not use specific CIDR blocks on their home networks (which would seem kind of like a weird requirement).

Thanks!
