I understand that from 1.18 onwards, I can set Tailscale to operate not as an interface but as a SOCKS5 proxy. I want to run this on my local LAN router, and want any communication via this proxy to operate through a specified exit node, so that I can selectively offer this proxy to machines and specific apps within my LAN. Can this be done? It’s my understanding that --exit-node works by changing default routes, so will the effect of that be confined only to traffic sent through the SOCKS5 proxy and not any other traffic to any other interfaces?
