After installing Tailscale, I am no longer able to access a device on my network by its hostname anymore. Even after uninstalling Tailscale, it still doesn’t work. I can only access if I use the local IP address. Did Tailscale change some setting on my computer?
Nevermind. I figured it out. MagicDNS changed the hosts file so that the hostname is linked to the tailscale IP address.
I am having a similar issue where I cannot access by the Tailscale IP address or magic DNS name. Did you have to do anything, or were you able to fix by using the tailscale IP address?
I realized I had a private dns on my android phone and that made it not work.
