Reaching remote machines from behind subnet router

Tailscale version: 0.1.0_1
Your operating system & version: pfSense 2.6.0

Hello, I have pfSense set up as a tailscale subnet router advertising my LAN subnet of 192.168.1.0/24. I also have an offsite remote machine, with the tailscale client installed, operating on the 192.168.2.0/24 subnet. From the remote machine, I am able to ping devices on the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet, and from the pfSense box, I am able to ping the tailscale IP of the remote machine. However, I am unable to ping the remote machine’s tailscale IP from the devices behind the subnet router (on 192.168.1.0/24), unless they too have the tailscale client installed and connected. I was hoping that the subnet router would give me the ability to reach a remote machine from devices behind the router (without client installed), not just the other way around. Is this possible?

Thanks!
