Am I doing something wrong with exit nodes? I’ve got 1GB up and down at home and 1GB up/down on a remote machine at a home out of state. If I run the out of state home as an exit node and run my home connection through it - speed tests come back 8-10Mbps up and down. I expected some degradation of speeds but 90+% slower? Is that what I should expect?
I don’t know much about exit nodes, but on the remote machine, open a cmd prompt (assuming Windows), and run “tailscale.exe status” and see if the connection is direct, or relayed. If it isn’t direct, then that would be why it is slow.
