Pfsense not using exit node

I am running pfSense Plus and I can ping the .52 address and connect a tcp port on .52. My pfsense and other devices continues to show my home IP instead of the remote locations IP address. It works correctly if I use a windows machine and the GUI.

As far as I understand, you can’t be both an exit node and connect to an exit node.

You have to pick one.
