Tailscale choosing incorrect default path

Tailscale version
1.14.0
Your operating system & version
Win 10 Pro 21H1 build 19043.1165

I have multiple NICs in my workstation. My NIC i treat as primary has a path to the internet, the other NIC does not. My IPv4 routing table is configured appropriately for this situation. Adapter “Eth #1” is set as the IPv4 default gateway while adapter “Eth #4” is configured only for access to specific subnets. After installing Tailscale I experienced some strange behavior. When issuing the “log in…” command from the system tray, nothing happened. I dug up the Tailscale logs and found this:

2021-08-24T16:36:39.232-08:00: 2021/08/24 16:36:39 link state: interfaces.State{defaultRoute=Ethernet 4 (Intel(R) Ethernet I210-T1 GbE NIC) ifs={Ethernet:[x.x.x.102/24] Ethernet 4:[x.x.x.4/24]} v4=true v6=false}

Choosing Eth 4 as a default adapter is inappropriate for my system but I don’t see any way to change that. Does anyone know how to instruct Tailscale to use the appropriate adapter?

Thanks,
D
